Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Pathology Physician for locum tenens support in south-central Pennsylvania. The role includes coverage Monday through Sunday, 7:00am–5:00pm, at a medical center, handling endoscopy, bone marrow non-Gyn cytology, needle core biopsies, and fine-needle aspirations with hematology consults.

Credentialing within 90 days is typical. The candidate must hold Board Certification and be licensed in Pennsylvania or eligible via IMLC, with Epic experience and active licensure

Qualifications

• Board certification required by the client.
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC licensure required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Sunday 7:00am–5:00pm.
• Practice setting: medical center.
• Perform and sign out pathology evaluations for specified specimen types.

This facility is seeking a Pathology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Sunday 7:00am-5:00pm
• Practice Setting: medical center
• Type of cases and required procedures: Endoscopy Specimens, Bone Marrow- Non-Gyn Cytology, Needle Core Biopsy (breast, liver, lung), Fine Needle Aspirations (for adequacy at time of procedure) Hematology Consults.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Board Certified
• Licensure required: Active Pennsylvania license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
