Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Pathology Physician for locum tenens coverage in New York, with a schedule of 2 weeks per month, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. EPIC is the EMR, and board-certified physicians with a New York license are preferred for this outpatient setting near Brooklyn.

Coverage includes surgical pathology and non-gynecologic cytology, along with frozen sections (2–5 per week) and ROSE (5–8 per week). Autopsy coverage is not required.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• New York medical license required.

This facility is seeking a Pathology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 2 weeks a month, 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures: Provide coverage for surgical pathology and non-gynecologic cytology. Provide coverage for frozen section diagnosis and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE). Frozen sections are 2-5 per week and ROSE procedures are 5-8/week. No autopsy coverage is required
• Credentialing timeframe: 45 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Board Certification
• Licensure required: New York license in hand
