is seeking board-certified clinicians to join our panel for an important mission of ensuring quality healthcare for our Nation's Veterans. We are actively recruiting specialists in the following areas:

• Pathology - Cytopathology
• Pathology - Dermatopathology
• Pathology - Hematopathology
• Pathology - Medical Microbiology
• Pathology - Molecular Genetics
• Pathology - Neuropathology

As a VA medical reviewer, you will:

• Conduct thorough, objective case reviews to assess the quality and appropriateness of care provided to Veterans.
• This is a remote, flexible position allowing you to contribute your clinical expertise while maintaining your current practice.

What Should I Expect?

• Perform comprehensive medical record peer reviews for determining appropriate clinical outcomes in accordance with all State and Federal regulations.
• Make clinical judgments based on experience and evidence-based research as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your clinical area.
• Maintain compliance with regulation changes affecting medical and utilization review practices.
• Document review information as instructed.
• Communicate report results to the appropriate supervisor.
• Access electronic health information, as assigned or granted.

Do I Qualify?

• Hold a current medical license.
• Be board certified within your clinical specialty (as appropriate).
• Currently work a minimum of 20 hours per month within your clinical specialty.
• Have at least 5 years of full-time experience in direct care.
• Have been actively seeing patients within the last 3 years.
