Job description

The Department of Pathology at The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is seeking candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor levels, on either the tenure track or non-tenure clinical track. The successful candidates will join a collegial group of academic pathologists to participate in an active and expanding surgical pathology service, which will be specialty-focused.

We aim to recruit multiple candidates across various sub-specialties, including:

  • Pulmonary/thoracic pathology
  • Breast pathology
  • Gynecologic pathology
  • Genitourinary pathology
  • Pediatric pathology
  • Head and neck/ENT pathology

There are opportunities for practicing more than one specialty.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • 34-36 weeks of service commitment per year
  • 4-5 weekends per year (depending on subspecialty)
