• Must be actively licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
• Experience with various pathology cases including surgical and non-GYN cytology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for covering Pathology services for the hospital during July.
• Interpret and report on 30-40 pathology cases daily.
• Supervise histotechs and manage grossing process.

Pathology Physician Locums Job l July Coverage

Jackson and Coker has partnered with a hospital in Pennsylvania that is seeking a Pathologist to cover during the month of July. The ideal candidate will be actively licensed in Pennsylvania and available to start in July!

Details/Requirements :
Active + unrestricted Pennsylvania license
Active Board Certification AP/CP required
Types of cases: Pap, Non-GYN cytology, Heme, blood smear. Surgical including: GI, GYN, GU, Bone, Gross only Breast, lung, Derm/skin
Average 30-40 reads per day
Will cover as solo Pathologist but there are 3 histotechs to assist.
Histotechs assist with Grossing. They cut the frozens as well typically only 1-3 per week
Will cover call, but essentially never called back. Daily hours 8-4:30
160+ bed hospital
