Facility : A nonprofit hospital known for its comprehensive medical services, including emergency care, surgical services, and various specialty programs. The facility focuses on community health and offers wellness programs.

Opportunity :

1. Looking for a Locum Pathologist starting as soon as credentialed!
2. Practice Setting : Hospital-Based Pathology Lab
3. Dates of Coverage : ASAP through March 2025
4. Call Schedule : Rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage between 5 Pathologists
5. Call Ratio : 1 : 5
6. Certifications Held : CLIA, CAP, AABB, TJC
7. Cases Read Per Day : 25-30
8. Responsibilities : Electrophoresis Pathology interpretation and Hematology Differential Review
9. Group Size : 5 physicians
10. Technologists and Assistants : 4 Histotechnologists, 1 Pathology Assistant, 2 Cytotechnologists
11. Supervision : Required of other healthcare providers
12. Other Pathologists Present : Yes
13. Equipment : Leica ASP300S processors, Leica CM1800 Cryostat, Olympus Microscope
14. Cytology Proficiency : Required for GYN Cytology using Cytospin method
15. Documentation System : EPIC EMR
16. Credentialing Timeframe : ASAP

• Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
