Job description

Medicus is collaborating with a leading hospital in Chicago, Illinois, with an opening for a skilled Breast Pathologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details:

1. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday, 2 weeks per month
2. Call shifts available, but not required
3. Setting: Inpatient
4. Daily Volume: Varies, usually between 12-25 cases
5. Cases: Breast pathology, frozen sections, tumor boards; no grossing required
6. Team Structure: 50+ pathologists on staff at a full-service lab, 2-3 pathologists per subspecialty
7. EMR: Epic
8. Must be board-certified or board-eligible
9. Paid travel & expenses
