Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO, is seeking a Pathology Phlebotomist to greet patients, collect specimens, and support diagnostic testing in accordance with standards and institutional procedures.

The role reports to the Section Supervisor, Laboratory Director, and/or Medical Director, with shifts across the day, and requires High School Diploma; phlebotomy experience or customer service background is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma.
• PBT(ASCP) certification encouraged.
• Previous phlebotomy or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs phlebotomy with appropriate skill across age groups.
• Participates in continuing education by obtaining CEUs annually.
• Performs specimen data entry and LIS-related functions as instructed.
• Reviews policies and procedures and suggests improvements.
• Monitors QA issues and reports problems to supervision.
• Uses PPE and safety devices when handling biohazardous materials.
• Provides excellent customer service and adheres to service standards.
• Performs other assigned duties.
