Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BLS may be required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Efforts to obtain BLS may be required depending on unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, catalog, and store lab specimens for testing.
• Adhere to departmental specimen identification policies and quality controls.
• Utilize lab and hospital information systems; provide general administrative support to laboratory staff (filing, record maintenance, answering client calls, mail delivery).
