This is a part-time, benefited position working Monday-Friday, typically 3pm-7pm, located at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines.

The Pathology Lab Assistant is responsible for:

  • Specimen receiving, accessioning, and distribution
  • Sectioning and staining of frozen tissue
  • Assisting Pathologist Assistants with photography
  • Following protocols for special handling of surgical specimens
  • Monitoring and ordering supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work area
