This role includes responsibilities such as managing tissue samples, adhering to compliance guidelines, and participating in departmental meetings. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree, ideally from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program, and have strong communication skills. This position involves potential travel and a mid-shift schedule, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Graduate of a NAACLS accredited formal Pathologist Assistant Program required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• ASCP certified or eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Perform gross examinations, dissection and description of tissues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance programs.
• Participate in surgical pathology protocol development and maintenance.
