Job summary

CellNetix Pathology Pllc is seeking a Pathologists’ Assistant to aid pathologists in diagnosing cases at the specimen level. Under supervision, you will describe and dissect specimens in a fast-paced lab and maintain ASCP certification while adhering to HIPAA.

The position operates Monday-Friday, with shift details as described. Qualifications include being a graduate of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists Assistant program and ASCP certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists Assistant Program.
• ASCP certified PA.
• Experience in a fast paced, high volume laboratory preferred.
• New grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Triage specimens for gross dissection.
• Gross all types of surgical specimens, simple to complex.
• Gross Photography.
• Handling of certain tissue types for special studies.
• Assist in training of new staff and competency assessments.
