Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Pathologists’ Assistant Program or equivalent is required.
• Certification: PA (ASCP) or equivalent preferred or obtained within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs gross dissection and dictation of diverse surgical pathology specimens under supervision.
• Documents procedures and codes accurately and summarizes clinical history.
• Maintains laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance; supports QA activities.
• Prepares specimens for cytological studies and ancillary testing as needed.
• Follows safety protocols for handling sharps and hazardous materials; supports team operations.
