You will perform routine gross examination of surgical pathology specimens, assist in autopsies, and help prepare for case conferences under a supervising pathologist. Qualifications include a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program and a related baccalaureate degree, plus ASCP certification and immunization records.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with NAACLS-pathologist assistant program within 5 years.
• Baccalaureate degree with 20 biology hours and 3 years full-time Pathologists' Assistant experience under a board-certified pathologist.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine gross examination of surgical pathology specimens.
• Provide assistance in autopsies and preparation of case conferences.
• Contribute to laboratory efficiency under the direction of a pathologist.

Formation

Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/university AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program within the last five years.

Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/university with 20 semester hours of biology and three years full-time experience as Pathologists' Assistant within the last ten years (supervision by a pathologist)
