Duration: 3-Month Contract with Potential Extension

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Pathologists' Assistant to support anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a pathologist. This role will primarily focus on the gross examination and processing of surgical pathology specimens, while also supporting autopsy procedures and case conferences.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

Option 1:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program within the past five years.

Option 2:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• At least 20 semester hours (30 quarter hours) of biology coursework.
• At least 3 years of full-time experience as a Pathologists' Assistant within the past 10 years.
• Experience must have been performed under the supervision of a pathologist certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology.

Required Certification

• Pathologists' Assistant (ASCP) certification — American Society for Clinical Pathology.
