• Prepare and analyze tissue samples, blood tests, and other specimens for diagnostic and research purposes.
• Work with academic research and clinical services within the university’s medical or research centers.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety and quality control protocols.
Job requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); use of forceps, scissors, computer keyboard and foot pedals. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 20‑50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $96,907.20 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
