Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with LIS and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tissue specimens (biopsies and resections) using microscopy and lab techniques.
• Perform autopsies to determine cause of death.
• Conduct tests on blood, body fluids, and other specimens to identify abnormalities.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Communicate pathology findings clearly in reports.
• Stay current with advancements in diagnostic techniques and pathology research.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives in the pathology department.
• Possibly teach/mentor residents and medical students.
