Job Description
The Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting for a board-certified, full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with subspecialty fellowship training in Gastrointestinal, Pancreas, and Liver Pathology. The position involves clinical sign-out duties in GI/Hepatobiliary/Pancreas subspecialty; additional areas of interest/training such as breast, ENT, and soft tissue pathology are highly desirable. The candidate will participate in resident training activities and clinical conferences. The Department has an ACGME-accredited residency program and subspecialty fellowships. Medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
The department emphasizes scholarship. The successful candidate is expected to be a member of the teaching faculty at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, with time allocated for intradepartmental and interdepartmental opportunities for independent and/or translational research. Development of specialized expertise is strongly encouraged.
