Pathologist Opportunity – Dubuque, Iowa

MercyOneHealth Group – Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a full‑time board‑certified/eligible pathologist trained in both anatomic and clinical pathology. Part‑time status will also be considered.

No specific subspecialty training is required; cytopathology training would be looked upon favorably. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

A generous sign‑on bonus of $100k is currently being offered.

The position will be with our collegial group of seven pathologists and two assistants. Pathologists oversee medical directorship for two community hospitals, a large multispecialty clinic and a rural access hospital. Caseload includes approximately 14,000 surgical cases, 2,000 non‑GYN cytology cases, 8,000 GYN cytology cases, a few autopsies, and radiologic‑guided fine‑needle aspirations and EBUS cases.

Requirements

• Board‑certified/eligible in pathology (BC/BE).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; strong relationships with clinical colleagues.
• Willingness to participate in clinical lab management and hospital committees, including tumor board.
