The position requires a Bachelor’s in medical lab science or related field with supervisory experience, plus a Pathologist's Assistant Certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role in a healthcare-related field.
• Bachelor's degree in medical lab science or health care field with 4+ years in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field OR 7+ years in healthcare-related field.
• Pathologist's Assistant Certificate required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning and collaboration; communicates feedback and leads by example to achieve business outcomes.
• Autonomously completes work and supports projects by applying subject matter expertise and operational knowledge.
• Develops training materials and ensures ongoing competency of personnel and aligns with standards.
• Maintains compliance and accreditation by updating policies and documentation; leads inspections and license renewals.
• Acts as liaison between medical laboratory services and other services; tracks regulatory changes and quality initiatives; coordinates cross-functional teams.
• Improves laboratory operations by standardizing processes, evaluating new methods, and optimizing resource use; leads projects and reports progress.
