Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires B.S. degree or higher with minimum science credits per CAP.
• Completion of a NAACLS approved Pathologists' Assistant program.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding specimens and findings; flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, photography, dictation and grossing of surgical specimen dissections from routine to complex cancer resections.
• Provide education and instruction for pathology residents, fellows and medical students.
• Assist with frozen sections and intra-operative consultations as needed.
