Job summary

Roche in Tucson, AZ seeks a Pathologist with US board certification in Anatomic Pathology to join our clinical and development teams. You will read slides, evaluate IHC/ISH/multiplex assays, and contribute to CDx programs in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.

MD or DO with fellowship preferred and at least 1 year in clinical practice or biotech/pharma is desired; involvement in FDA submissions and clinical trials may occur. Relocation benefits available.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with US Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Residency-trained in anatomic pathology with expertise in surgical pathology, IHC, ISH, and multiplex assays.
  • Experience evaluating PD-L1, HER2, and Ki-67 IHC assays.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical & Client Support: provide pathology and slide reading support for assay development, FDA submissions, clinical trials, and collaboration with internal/external teams.
  • R&D Innovation: support development of antibodies, detection systems, probes, and special stains.
  • Strategic Advisory: advise on future pathology and medical needs in cross-functional projects.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: serve as medical representative on project core teams.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
