Job summary

PathGroup is looking for an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our team in Oxford, Mississippi. This full-time position offers a fulfilling mix of surgical and clinical pathology responsibilities in a supportive community-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
  • Experience with diverse pathology cases including GI, breast, GYN, and non-gyn cytology.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
  • Provide clinical pathology oversight duties including transfusion services.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
  • Frozen section and intraoperative consultation services
  • Clinical pathology oversight duties (transfusion services, chemistry, hematology)
  • Participation in tumor boards and interdisciplinary clinical discussions
