Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ is seeking a qualified pathologist specializing in Cellular Therapy to oversee the Clinical Apheresis Service. Candidates will help develop a Cellular Therapy lab supporting the Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
The position requires an MD or DO with board certification in Clinical Pathology and experience in cellular therapy operations. Leadership experience of at least 5 years is essential. The role offers growth opportunities and involvement in a vital medical program.
The candidate will be a member of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services under the leadership of Dr. Roland Schwarting. This growing department currently employs 32 pathologists.
Cooper University Health Care has an exciting opportunity for a pathologist interested in Cellular Therapy, Clinical Apheresis and Transfusion Medicine. The qualified candidate will participate in developing a Cellular Therapy laboratory to support the growing Bone Marrow Transplant Program and will oversee the Clinical Apheresis Service, eventually developing an insourced program for Cooper.
MD or DO degree with Pathology and Blood Bank Medicine specialty. Subspecialty in apheresis is a plus.
The candidate must be board-certified by the American Board of Pathology as a Clinical Pathologist with specialty board certification in Transfusion Medicine.
