Job Title: Patent Counsel – Electrical Engineering

Duties:
- Manage patent prosecution across various technology areas, including 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on patent-related matters.
- Work closely with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios.
- Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications with the USPTO.
- Support clients in IP strategy and assist with patent litigation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality legal services.
- Advise on patent law and legal developments impacting clients’ businesses.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution.
- Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligible to register.
- Must be admitted to a state bar or eligible for admission.
- Strong background in wireless technologies, AI, processor and memory systems, and image processing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex patent portfolios.
- Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Certifications:
- USPTO Registration (or eligibility for registration).
Skills:
- Expertise in 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, and related technologies.
- Strong legal writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
