BCG Attorney Search in San Francisco seeks a Patent Prosecution Agent with 3+ years of experience to support Fortune 200 clients in its Intellectual Property Practice Group.

You will prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and foreign patents, interview inventors, and manage domestic and international portfolios while staying current with evolving patent law.

Qualifications

• 3+ years patent prosecution experience.
• Technical expertise in LTE/5G/6G Wireless Networks, computer hardware, AI, and deep learning.
• Ability to analyze complex technologies and work with inventors and in-house counsel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering required.
• Additional academic credentials in material science, physics, or other engineering disciplines preferred.

Certifications

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
