Job summary

Schwab in Austin, TX is seeking a Patent Operations Coordinator to provide the operational foundation for our growing patent program. You will manage the patent docket, records, SharePoint content, recurring reports, meeting materials, and inventor rewards, working closely with Patent Office leadership, inventors, and outside counsel.

This on-site role emphasizes timely deadlines, data accuracy, and process improvements, with opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience maintaining trackers, reports, document libraries, SharePoint pages, or comparable tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential/sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patent docket and matter records per governance standards.
• Manage SharePoint content, document libraries, forms, and training materials.
• Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and action logs.
• Administer inventor rewards and recognition records and communications.
• Coordinate Patent Forum support, on-site and virtual education events, logistics, and follow-up.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve reporting accuracy.
• Maintain confidential information per information protection requirements.
