Job summary

Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a full-time, in-office (hybrid) role in Ramapo, NY. You will support a client with an active IP and commercial litigation docket and help bring structure to complex workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a litigation paralegal and strong IP/patent litigation experience, with a proven ability to manage multiple matters, track discovery and motions, and coordinate with outside counsel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Strong preference for IP/patent litigation experience.
• Manage and track multiple active litigation matters including infringement and contract disputes.
• Maintain visibility into case status across discovery, motions, and settlements.
• Review and summarize legal documents, including settlement proposals.
• Coordinate with outside counsel across multiple matters and support litigation workflows.

Job description

Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a full-time, in-office (hybrid) role supporting a client with an active intellectual property and commercial litigation docket. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who thrives in managing multiple concurrent matters and enjoys bringing structure and visibility to complex litigation workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patent litigation and be comfortable partnering with outside counsel while keeping internal stakeholders informed.

Basic Requirements For The IP Paralegal

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
• Strong preference for experience in IP and/or patent litigation
• Manage and track multiple active litigation matters, including infringement and contract-related disputes
• Maintain visibility into case status, including tracking phases such as discovery, motions, and settlement discussions
• Review and summarize legal documents, including settlement proposals
• Coordinate with and support outside counsel across multiple ongoing matters
• Assist with litigation workflows, including drafting and managing largely boilerplate motion work
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong organizational and tracking skills

• Location: In Office - Ramapo, NY (3-4 days a week)

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000. This position is also eligible for bonuses and equity compensation. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
