Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition seeks a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney for a Dallas office with a premier AmLaw 100 firm. You will handle sophisticated patent disputes across industries.

Candidates should have 2–6 years of patent/IP litigation experience, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, and Texas bar eligibility. Responsibilities include pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial prep with trial teams.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of patent/IP litigation experience at a sophisticated law firm.
• Experience handling patent infringement litigation in federal courts and ITC is preferred.
• Experience managing all phases of litigation: pleadings, fact and expert discovery, depositions, claim construction, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Technical background in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or another scientific discipline is preferred.
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in patent disputes and coordinate with trial teams.
• Prepare pleadings, manage discovery, and liaise with technical experts.
• Participate in trial preparation and argument development
