LJW Solutions in Chicago seeks a Patent Litigation Associate to join a sophisticated Intellectual Property litigation team handling complex disputes involving innovative technologies for major domestic and international clients.

You will take meaningful responsibility across the entire lifecycle of patent litigation, including pleadings, discovery, claim construction, expert work, and trial preparation, with strong training and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex federal court litigation.
• Strong written advocacy and legal research skills.
• Discovery and deposition experience.
• Experience with claim construction is advantageous.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Technical or scientific knowledge is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage substantial litigation workstreams.
• Illinois Bar admission or eligibility.

The position offers the opportunity to work on complex patent disputes involving innovative technologies and major domestic and international businesses.

The successful attorney will gain meaningful responsibility across the complete lifecycle of patent litigation matters, including investigation, discovery, claim construction, expert work, dispositive motions and trial preparation.
