You will convert sketches, CAD files, and technical disclosures into compliant figures, coordinate with attorneys and inventors, and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

3+ years of drafting, technical illustration, or patent drawing experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Visio, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare patent drawings for utility, design, and plant patent applications.
Convert sketches, engineering drawings, CAD files, photographs, and technical disclosures into patent-compliant figures.
Ensure compliance with USPTO, PCT, EPO, and other patent-office standards.
Review drawing requirements and maintain adherence to all client guidelines and specifications.
Create mechanical, software, electrical, and process-flow illustrations.
Coordinate with attorneys, patent agents, and inventors.
Manage multiple projects and filing deadlines.
