Stinson LLP is seeking a highly motivated patent attorney to join its Denver, Colorado office. With over 500 attorneys in 16 offices nationwide, Stinson takes pride in its collaborative approach, lasting relationships, and unique perspectives. Clients range from individuals and universities to start‑up technology companies and large publicly traded industry leaders.
Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications in electrical engineering, computer science and software‑implemented business methods. Draft and review intellectual property and technology‑related agreements and licenses. Provide patentability, freedom to operate, and due diligence assessments. Advise clients on patent protection and strategy, enforcement, and general intellectual property matters, and defend clients against infringement claims.
Base salary range: $200,000 – $250,000, plus a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The range is an initial approximation and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
