Vanguard-IP in New York seeks an experienced patent attorney to lead drafting and prosecution of software and AI patents. You will advise on complex patent strategies, work with cross‑functional teams, and manage cases from filing to grant.

Candidates must have bar admission, USPTO registration, and a CS/engineering background, with proven patent prosecution experience and strong written and oral communication.

Formación

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction where applying and in good standing.
• Registered and in good standing to practice before the USPTO.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience practicing patent law focused on software and AI.
• Drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication and judgment.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Self-starter with strong workload prioritization under pressure.
• Patent prosecution experience focused on AI, software and computer science.
