Mid to Senior Patent Attorney - Engineering - Dallas or Washington, DC

Our client is a major international firm, seeking a mid to senior associate for its Intellectual Property practice in Dallas or Washington, DC. This position combines both IP litigation and patent application drafting, with a preference for litigation experience. The salary for this position is between $310k to $435k.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience drafting patent applications and other IP transactional work.


• Experience handling IP disputes, including patent, trademark, copyright, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secrets, as well as licensing and commercial disputes.


• An engineering background is required [electrical, computer, mechanical or related].


• Admission to the Texas or District of Columbia bar.


• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and verbal communication skills.


• All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
