We are partnering with a leading AmLaw 100 firm to add a Patent Prosecution Attorney to its national IP practice, with openings in Dallas or Houston. The role focuses on sophisticated patent matters for Fortune 200 clients, involving AI, machine learning, semiconductors, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software systems, fintech and medical devices.

You will interact directly with inventors and in-house counsel.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of patent prosecution experience required.
  • Three+ years drafting and prosecuting advanced computing patent applications.
  • J.D. with active USPTO registration and bar admission required.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prosecute patents for Fortune 200 clients across AI/ML, semiconductors, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software, fintech and medical devices.
  • Interact directly with inventors and in-house counsel to manage prosecutions.
  • Contribute to an IP practice with national scope in a leading AmLaw 100 firm.

AMLAW 100 | HOUSTON OR DALLAS | PATENT PROSECUTION | 2-5 YEARS

I'm partnering with a leading AmLaw 100 firm to add a Patent Prosecution Attorney to its nationally recognized IP practice.

Dallas or Houston

THE WORK
  • Sophisticated patent matters for Fortune 200 clients
  • Advanced technologies, including AI, machine learning, semiconductors, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software systems, fintech, and medical devices
  • Direct interaction with inventors and in-house counsel
WHAT YOU NEED
  • 2-5 years of relevant patent prosecution experience
  • At least three full years drafting and prosecuting advanced computing patent applications
  • J.D., applicable bar admission, and active USPTO registration
  • AI and machine learning experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
