Patent Attorney / Patent Agent / Former Patent Examiner

The Webb Law Firm, a boutique IP firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a patent attorney, patent agent, or former patent examiner to join our legal staff. Your primary duties will include performing patent landscape and freedom‑to‑operate searches and assisting with IP due diligence projects, but opportunities to expand into other areas are also available. Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline, and two or more years of experience in performing freedom‑to‑operate and patentability searches and analysis. Familiarity with patent databases and search tools is also a plus, as is past work as a patent examiner. While our office is located in Pittsburgh, remote work opportunities (within the US) are available.

USPTO registration (in good standing) is required.
