Confidential Employer. in New York, NY is seeking an experienced patent attorney to draft and prosecute patents in semiconductors and electrical engineering. You will build strategic portfolios and manage U.S.

and international matters with a team of attorneys and engineers in a hybrid setting. Requirements: 3+ years of patent preparation and prosecution, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, active USPTO registration, and bar admission (NY or CA).

$130,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule while collaborating with our team in either New York City. Candidates should be able to commute regularly to their selected office.

Note

Candidates must have 3+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience, a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, substantial semiconductor patent drafting and prosecution experience, and USPTO registration. Patent Attorneys must also hold the applicable state bar admission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on semiconductor patent drafting and prosecution experience.
• Active USPTO registration.
• New York Bar admission for attorneys based in New York or California Bar admission for attorneys based in San Jose.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Advanced engineering degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
