Responsibilities

This position will support the IP Practice working on the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios.

• Drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.)
• Prosecuting patent applications

Qualifications

• Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in computer engineering and/or computer science are preferred, although candidates with degrees in electrical engineering or other relevant experience will also be considered.
• Experience drafting complex software patent applications is required.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
