Job Requirements

Applicants must support the IP Practice by developing, procuring, and counseling patent portfolios. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.)
• Experience prosecuting patent applications

Additional qualifications:

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related fields (mechanical engineering or other relevant experience also acceptable)
• Strong experience drafting complex software patent applications (plus)
• Excellent academic credentials, client‑facing experience, strong writing and analytical skills
