Duties:

  • Manage patent preparation and prosecution for a diverse range of technologies, including electrical, computer, software, and mechanical fields.
  • Draft and file patent applications, ensuring compliance with USPTO regulations.
  • Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses.
  • Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, focusing on patent law.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical aspects and provide strategic intellectual property guidance.
  • Work closely with attorneys to support litigation and other IP-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in the areas of electrical, computer, software, and mechanical technologies.
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

Certifications:
