BCG Attorney Search is seeking a patent agent in Fort Worth, TX to join our Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. The candidate will draft and prosecute patent applications in EE and software fields, collaborating with clients to understand inventions and draft filings.

Required are 2+ years of patent experience and USPTO admission, with a degree in engineering or CS and USPTO registration. Knowledge of ML/AI and communications security is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Admission to the USPTO.
• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
• USPTO registration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering and software-related technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their inventions and draft patent applications.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Communicate with the USPTO regarding patent applications.
