POSITION SUMMARY, RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Honigman’s Intellectual Property (IP) department focuses on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets for client portfolios worldwide, including search, registration, enforcement, anti-counterfeiting, litigation, and a range of transactional work involving intellectual property rights. Our patent agents cover a variety of patent-related matters, including drafting patent applications and prosecuting them before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), conducting patent searches, and assisting with litigation research. We represent clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups, universities, and independent inventors across the U.S., with particular technical strengths in the software, electrical, mechanical, and chemical areas, as well as in the life sciences industry.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 annually.
