Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of patent prosecution, a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and USPTO registration is preferred but not required.

Patent Agent / Technical Advisor - Dallas, TX (Houston & Austin Also Considered)

We are partnering with a highly regarded intellectual property law firm seeking an experienced Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to join its growing Patent Prosecution practice.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 3 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications involving complex technologies.
• USPTO registration preferred, but not required.
• Prior law firm or in-house experience.

Location: Dallas; Houston and Austin also considered.

Schedule: 100% on-site.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience and billable hour expectations.
