Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, or related field.
• 0–3 years of related experience in systems administration, IT support, or cybersecurity in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of basic patch management concepts and familiarity with common tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Current secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply patch management principles to identify, test, and deploy OS and application updates across enterprise endpoints using standard tools.
• Coordinate routine and emergency patch cycles, including testing, change approvals, maintenance windows, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor vulnerability and patch compliance reports and remediate non-compliant systems with senior admins.
• Understand dependencies between endpoints, servers, and networks when planning patches and troubleshooting deployments.
• Assist with automated patch workflows, scheduling, targeting, validating installations, and documenting results for audits.
• Maintain documentation for baselines, deployment procedures, and known issues to support compliant operations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and vulnerability teams to align patching with current threats and policies.
