Job summary

The role leads testing, phased rollout, and remediation, using WSUS/SCCM, maintains schedules, and collaborates with security and operations teams to align remediation priorities and ensure audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–6 years of patch management or related infrastructure security experience.
• Strong understanding of patch management principles and tools like WSUS and SCCM.
• Proven problem solving, analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with assessments, audits, and automated patch management solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, testing, and deployment of patches across enterprise endpoints using WSUS, SCCM, or similar platforms.
• Design patch schedules, phased rollout plans, and maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot failed patches and coordinate with admins on fixes.
• Implement automated patch management workflows and deployment rules.
• Monitor vulnerability feeds and compliance dashboards to prioritize patches.
• Document patch procedures and reporting for audits.
• Collaborate with security teams to align patches with threats and regulatory obligations.
