The ideal candidate has experience with agricultural equipment, understands farm safety around horses, and can work independently. Starting pay is $20/hour, with overtime possible during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tractors, mowers, or similar agricultural equipment.
• Experience working on a farm or around horses preferred.
• Ability to safely operate machinery on uneven terrain.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment upkeep.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and mowing equipment to maintain pastures, fields, and farm grounds.
• Perform routine mowing, bush hogging, and weed control.
• Inspect fields for hazards (holes, debris, toxic plants) and report issues.
• Conduct basic maintenance on tractors and equipment (fueling, greasing, cleaning, minor repairs).
• Follow all farm safety procedures, especially around horses and farm staff.
• Assist with additional farm duties as needed (fence line clearing, dragging arenas, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas.
