Job summary

Loma Tex‑Mex in Arlington, TX is seeking a reliable Pastry Chef / Tortilla Prep team member to support daily dessert, tortilla, and specialty prep production. You’ll prepare desserts, fresh tortillas, garnishes, sauces, and other prep according to established recipes and standards.

• Prepare desserts, fresh tortillas, garnishes, sauces and other prep according to recipes.
• Follow established recipes and standards to ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Pastry Chef / Tortilla Prep team member to support our daily dessert, tortilla, and specialty prep production.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precise prep work, takes pride in consistency, and can stay organized while working through a production list. You’ll be responsible for preparing desserts, fresh tortillas, garnishes, sauces, and other assigned prep according to established recipes and standards.

This is a hands‑on production position. You do not need formal pastry‑school training, but professional kitchen experience, strong organization, and attention to detail are important.

We are always looking for experienced cooks and prep cooks to join our team. Our scratch kitchen requires team members who can read our recipes and make them according to company spec. Cleanliness and strong kitchen skills are a must to work in our team. We are happy to train outgoing and dedicated people looking to advance their education.
