Job summary

SusieCakes in San Francisco seeks a Decorations Manager to lead frosting, inscribing, and decorating cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods. You will train and develop the decorations team, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to safety standards.

This full-time, permanent role offers a stable day shift with hourly compensation between $27 and $30 per hour, reflecting experience and market norms for the position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred.

The Decorations Manager leads the culinary operation in frosting, inscribing, and decorating of delicious cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods. They are charged with ensuring the highest quality baked goods are decorated in a timely manner by means of training, supporting overall safety, and developing the culinary team through the specialization of decorations management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds
