Job summary

Northwood Hospitality LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled Baker to produce high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts for hotel guests. You will follow recipes, decorate items, and support breakfast and catering services.

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items, maintain strict food safety standards, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker or similar role
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for baking and a creative eye for detail
• Food Handler's Certificate (required)

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes and standards.
• Bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with icings, frostings, and other decorative elements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
