A leading fine dining restaurant in Philadelphia is looking for a passionate Pastry Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess at least a year of baking experience, be dependable, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Full-time positions offer health benefits and dining discounts.
Zahav is seeking a fired-up Pastry Cook to join our dedicated team. This person will work in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen in a restaurant built on bringing exceptional hospitality. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, dependable, and eager to grow every day. Candidates should be punctual, professional, and recipe/task-oriented.
Hourly rate is at least $18/hour, based on experience.
Pastry kitchen responsibilities include preparing cakes, breads, ice creams, sorbet, and special request desserts.
Baking production and pastry experience are preferred. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
This role is approximately 40 hours per week, with 4-5 shifts per week. Zahav is open Tuesday through Saturday. Ability to work on Fridays and Saturdays is required. Shifts will be from 8am to 4pm daily.
